"The Innocence of Eli Druce" reading at
The Greenhouse Ensemble in NYC
I recently had the opportunity to participate in a reading of a brand-new play titled
"The Innocence of Eli Druce", written by Frank Trangredi and directed by Hazen Cuyler.
The play follows Eli Druce, an Iowa farm boy, as he reflects on the three women who shaped his understanding of love, sex, and his identity. I played the role of Susannah Holly, his first love.

The Little Mermaid performing “Part of Your World” and "Under The Sea" on Television in Nagasaki Japan!
Emelie will be Touring Japan singing the role of "Ariel" In The Little Mermaid among other Disney Classics!
I am SO beyond excited to announce that I will be touring with the Disney Music Group/Harmony Japan international concert tour of “The Little Mermaid”! I'm so excited to explore Japan for 4 months while getting to sing with the 60-piece Symphony Orchestra of Japan. Getting to sing this music that I have loved since I was a little kid is Beyond My Wildest Dreams :)

Emelie will be joining the Broadway National Tour of "Fiddler On The Roof"
I am SO beyond excited to announce that I will be joining the Broadway National Tour of “Fiddler On The Roof”!! I will be a swing covering 7 roles, including: Hodel, Tzeitel, Fruma Sarah, and more! I can’t wait to sing and SWING (haha) into Anatevka this fall. Fiddler has always been one of my favorite shows. Being in this production is a dream come tru,e and I’m so happy that I get to travel the country (& Canada) and tell this story!

The Summer Theatre of New Canaan

Emelie Latzer was accepted into the Acting Apprentice Program at the Summer Theatre of New Canaan, an award-winning LORT regional theater in Connecticut, now in its 19th season. Emelie will also play the role of “Glinda” in their Summer Main Stage production of The Wizard Of Oz

Emelie will be making her Off Off Broadway debut in DAMNATION! The Musical at the Kraine Theatre on May 16 and May 17th. Damnation! started out as a devised class project at NYU during the pandemic. With the help of Professors Alex Gemignani (Tony Nominee) and Taylor Haven Holt (Hamilton, Angelica Tour), Emelie and 14 other NYU musical theatre students wrote and composed a new original musical. The show has now grown in to a full length musical production.

On May 15th Emelie Latzer will be performing in "Endings and Beginnings". Witness the rising stars of Steinhardt’s Vocal Performance Class of 2022 in their Green Room 42 debut! Join Emelie and her peers for an evening of musical theatre celebrating all of life’s endings and beginnings, under the direction of Taylor Haven Holt (Hamilton, Angelica Tour). Emelie will be singing two duets including "Time Stops" from Big Fish and "I Will Never Leave You From Side Show".
